Success has meant developing a market responsiveness so quick and accurate that Glenbarry can spot trends before they’re fully underway. Our consultants live among their clients and they know how to listen. But we also believe in paying back.
We’ve won an award for community service, as a sponsor of child cancer, both nationally and within Northland. The Professionals group, in fact is New Zealand’s largest contributor to child cancer care and research – over $2.6 million to date.
As major sponsors of the Child Cancer Foundation, the Professionals are proud to have provided two holiday homes, in Taupo and Queenstown, for the use of children and their families living with cancer. |

These two holiday homes, known as the ‘"Sunshine Lodges", give children and their families a chance to spend time together and regain strength after the intense emotional time surrounding long periods of treatment. Both lodges are offered free of charge, serviced between guests and totally maintained by the Professionals.
As well as two Sunshine Lodge holiday homes, the Professionals have helped to provide The Family Place, two drop-in centres in Auckland and Wellington, for children living with cancer and their families.
The Family Place gives family and friends of children living with cancer, a restful environment away from the hospital atmosphere, to meet others facing the same trauma and gather information on issues of childhood cancer. It also gives children living with cancer and their siblings an environment to relax and play. |
